Abstract
We present a compilation of results from previous studies and preliminary results from a new study all conducted by the authors describing the influences of joint angle and muscle force on two myoelectric parameters-conduction velocity and the mean frequency (MF) of the power spectrum. Also described is an estimation technique that significantly diminishes the effects on MF estimation during dynamic muscle contractions
