Abstract :
The paper presents a summary on the first stage of formation of the Sevastopol radio plant and its functioning as a part of Leningrad Production Enterprise named after Kozitskiy. Founders and some leading specialists of the enterprise, the main types of the sea communication equipment manufactured during this period and its developers are characterized, the role of the main plant in formation of the enterprise is explained. In addition, the history of contacting with Simferopol PE “Photon” is discussed.
