Abstract :
A correlation method of distance measurement is considered. It is proved that in such radio finder the influence of Doppler shift of frequency on result of measurements is excluded. The characteristic of the distance measurer is defined. It is shown that the characteristic of the measurer has a sawtooth appearance. The steepness of the characteristic is defined. Condition of unambiguous measurement of range is obtained. The assessment of potential accuracy of the temporary delay measurement is obtained.
