Abstract :
Based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm, the optimum design method for neuron controllers is proposed in this paper. In this controller design method, the rise time and the overshoot are taken as the criterion, and the PSO algorithm is applied to calculate the parameters of the neuron PID controller. The proposed method is used to design the optimum neuron controller for a hydraulic turbine generator. The simulation tests are made. The results show that satisfactory performance is reached.
