Abstract :
Web platform and agent based multi-user design coordination are proposed to implement an Internet-based cooperative design of printing & dyeing products. Then, with the knowledge base to represent colors and manufacture control parameters, a case & rules based reasoning system is presented. By this reasoning system, colors recipes and manufacture control parameters, which were only determined by the experiences of sophisticated engineers in the past, can be obtained more quickly and precisely. Furthermore, the implementation of workflow management system for design and manufacture procedures is described briefly.
