Abstract
Development of systems of systems outstrips the current software systems development strategy. A development strategy which integrates design, analysis, modeling and simulation using a methodology which integrates aspects of modular decomposition, object-oriented design, and distributed system design is reported. The methodology is illustrated in the design of a high bandwidth communications infrastructure for tactical armed forces
