Research of VEIS based on MAS

Aiming at the questions of multi-domain in VE (Virtual Enterprise), an information system architecture of VE based on MAS (Multi-Agent System) is presented, in which a business process division and domain modeling approaches are employed to handle the complex and mutable problems in VE. In order to illustrate this approach, its prototype and implementation are also presented. Research results show that this framework has the capabilities of openness and dynamic reengineering. Moreover, it can solve the multi-domain problems existing in VE and can provide the circumstance for cooperation and collaboration among agents.
