Abstract
Experimental results on the coding of high resolution video sequences with a different frame rate in the H.265/HEVC coding system. This gave possibilities to estimate the required performance of an arithmetic coding unit, largely determines the performance of the entire coding system. it is proposed to use a relative number of blocks encoding of the minimum size in the encoded images as a measure of the spatial complexity of the encoded images.
