Abstract
The present paper concerns the problem of the analysis of digital images based on local signs of self-similarity is considered. The algorithm of formation of fractal signs of images and the algorithm of detection of unrepresentative sections of the image, which in particular can be used for the solution of tasks of defectoscopy, are described. Results of researches of possibility of use of distribution of self-similarity are given in defectoscopy tasks.
