Abstract
Multisensor fusion system is characterized by its high fault tolerance, increased reliability, and improved performance. This paper considers the problem about redundant configuration of distributed multisensor applications. An optimization model and a criterion which fulfil the system´s availability constraint with minimum cost are presented. In addition, simulated annealing algorithm for the combinatorial optimization problem here is also given. The experimental results show that the optimization model, criteria and algorithm are very effectual.
