  • Abstract
The problem of the transmission of effective pseudopower in the multirate systems with pseudolossless filters, i.e. with wave digital filters (WDFs) and/or voltage-inverter-switch switched capacitor (VIS-SC) filters, is considered. The notion of multirate signal processing is generalized to the process of product modulation and filtering. The motion of integer L-band signals is introduced, and the classical Shannon sampling theorem is generalized. The phenomenon of effective pseudoenergy losses in multirate systems with classical pseudolossless WDFs and/or VIS-SC filters is investigated, and the recovery problem is formulated. It is concluded that in order to solve this recovery problem, new WDF and VIS-SC filter structures are necessary
