Abstract :
Aimed at traditional problems such as low-efficiency, too much man-made factor and unable to realize online, real-time or noncontact measure in the inspecting inner and outer diameter of bearing, a machine vision system for inspecting inner and outer diameter of bearing is developed. The system setup and inspecting principle are introduced. Moreover, filtering two times is introduced in image preprocessing, based on which, four detection operator are compared and studied, to make the extraction of image edge-detection better. The presented results show that the proposed machine vision inspection system allows accurate and robust 100% inspection of bearing-diameter and as such it may be a valuable tool for ensuring high-end-product quality, thus has a expansive application foreground.
