Abstract
Based on the existing situations and problems in hot blast stoves, in combustion systems, new research direction and methods of automatic control were introduced here. This includes online computation and adjustment of the ratio of air to fuel with the help of gas analyzer, and self-adapted fuzzy control with adjusting parameters of hot blast stove combustion systems. According to the result of preliminary running and simulation, less BFG (blast furnace gas) was used, the efficiency of heat transfer was made better, the temperature of hot gas was increased, and air pollution was decreased. The proposed method met the requirements of techniques and could improve the economic benefits and social benefits as well.
