Abstract
The present paper concerns the possibility of using components of telecommunication fiber-optic links implementing Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology to build the beamforming systems for broadband receiving phased array antennas. The paper presents the results of experimental study of the characteristics of the fiber-optic microwave signals´ transmission link model, composed of components available in the market. The obtained estimation of the model´s main parameters, i.e. transfer coefficient, the transfer characteristic, compression point, dynamic range, harmonic distortions, noise level, are given.
