Abstract :
The present paper concerns the design of circular waveguide TE01 mode converter based on aperture slot coupling with rectangular waveguide. The described device is based on using of aperture ring shaped slots between rectangular and circular waveguides. Various forms of slots are considered and an optimal form is found, it has insertion loss -0.05 dB at center frequency with frequency band at level -1 dB about 0.3 %.
