Abstract :
A compositive, sinusoidal, high-frequency-link (HFL) inverter with current-fed topology is proposed. Compared with voltage-fed topologies, current-fed topology has its inherent advantages. By using the current-fed topologies, the voltage stress on rectifier diodes can be suppressed, so that diodes with low voltage rating can be used. Those diodes with low voltage rating can reduce the loss of the system and improve the efficiency.
