Abstract :
The rotor speed tested scheme of the switched reluctance motor drive without the rotor position detector was presented. The rotor speed closed-loop control strategy by regulating the turn-on angle of the main switches in the power converter was given based on the fuzzy logic algorithm. The deviation of the rotor speed and the deviation of acceleration were the input control parameters and the increment of the turn-on angle was the output control parameter. The structure of the prototype in the hardware and the software were described by the adopted digital signal processor. The experimental results of the prototype were also presented.
