Abstract :
TTP is a platform technology for fault-tolerant distributed embedded computing and networking. TTP provides a databus functionality as a part of its platform functionality, but this is only one part of the overall set of supported features. This paper describes the features of TTP which support layered implementation of IVHM and SHM integrated within the functional subsystem. Furthermore, the paper briefly examines the impact of the built-in TTP services on the development of efficient diagnostics, prognostics and model-based reasoning systems as well as its potential impact on "no fault founds" (NFF) maintenance
