Abstract :
The combination of chaos and fuzzy logic is a new method in the area of artificial intelligence (AI). In this paper, we propose a new model of fuzzy chaotic neuron on the basis of construction method of fuzzy neural networks. First, we introduce the concept of fuzzy number neuron, give its expression and the process of how to compute its lambda-cut set in order to get the output of neuron. Then we give an example to construct fuzzy number neural networks with the fuzzy number neurons. The dynamics model of fuzzy chaotic neuron (FCN) is also proposed. We mainly discuss fuzzy characteristics, dissipative characteristics and Lyapunov characteristic exponent of FCN. The simulation results and analysis are also provided
