  • Abstract
    The paper designs a conventional fuzzy-PI speed controller for a speed-controlled induction motor drive with indirect vector control in the inner loop. Then, two kinds of simple methods are presented for enhancing this type of fuzzy control system performance. Finally, a lot of simulation studies are done based on Matlab software, the simulation results show that the improving techniques are very effective without obviously adding the implementation burden of a fuzzy controller and are of important engineering application values.
