Abstract :
This paper describes the application of PWM control to multilevel inductorless dc/dc converters in order to minimise the component count. Three fault-tolerant PWM controlled inductorless multilevel dc/dc converters are investigated: the generalised dc/dc converter, the diode clamped dc/dc converter and the capacitor clamped dc/dc converter.
