Abstract
Summary form only given. A general theory describing the behaviour of magnetic particles inside particulate media including the effects of physical chaining and inter particle interactions has been produced. This work aims to provide evidence of the validity of this theory by comparison with experimental measurements on advanced metal particle (MP) tapes.
