Abstract :
Summary form only given. NdFeB-type magnet thick films have been reported the highly potential materials for constructing microelectromechanical system (MEMS). However, high coercivity (> 10 kOe) is usually an obstacle for the NdFeB-type films to be used for fully magnetization, especially in an extremely tiny area. Accordingly, this paper focuses on the technology in fabricating the NdFeB thick films, by the substitution of Y, La or Ce for Nd, in order to achieve the goal of moderate coercive force and high energy product. Furthermore, the role of the substitution elements on the crystallinity and the magnetic properties of the films will also be discussed.
