Abstract :
The principles and some basic applications of cyclic spectral analysis are reviewed, and receiver operating characteristics with respect to cyclic feature detection for a simulated PSK signal in variable broadband noise and narrowband interference are presented. The authors discuss a generalization of the single-cycle detector, known as a cyclic spectrum analyzer, and its applicability to the problems of signal classification and modulation recognition. They briefly discuss another generalization of the cycle detector that results in simultaneous detection and time-difference-of-arrival estimation for two-antenna reception.<>
