Abstract
This paper presents the analysis of PWM for three-phase PFC (Power Factor Correction). The switching duration of PFC is divided into 4 stages according to the state of the main switches. A simple formula of on-duty is acquired by calculating the equations of the stages. Additionally, the suitable switching sequence for partial resonance is introduced. The suitable switching sequence is required to achieve full ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) on the main switches after partial resonance.
