Abstract :
The paper presents a procedure and results of a numerical simulation of a pulsed electromagnetic wave traveling through a coaxial transmission line, partially filled with a ferrite material and placed in a longitudinal magnetic field. The evolution of the pulsed signal is analyzed, especially in connection with generation of monochromatic oscillations. The dependences of their frequency and amplitude on parameters of the line and the ferrite medium are discussed, as well as optimum selection of the line length and problems of line matching with the source and the load.
