Abstract :
We propose an original modification of the broadband amplifier chain consisting of an input amplifier tube with high gain and output amplifier tube based on a transparent traveling wave tube. The feature of the proposed modification is that the signal is supplied to the modulation grid positioned between the cathode and the anode of transparent travelling wave tube. It is shown that the signal being supplied to the modulating grid located at the cathode to the output amplifier transparent traveling wave tube improves the stability of the whole amplifier chain.
