  • Abstract
Displays and projectors can increase their addressable resolution without changing the expensive spatial light modulators by using a technique called "wobulation," which consists of using mechanical actuators for rapidly shifting projected images (subframes) by fractions of pixel lengths. In this work we provide an analysis of the properties of the resulting super-imposed images, and discuss theoretical issues related to the stability of subframe generation and existence of solutions.
