            Abstract : 
The temporal development of the electrical current in a PZT bulk ceramic under an electric field is analyzed. At low fields, the leakage current is dominated by ohmic conduction. This changes to a space-charge limited behavior for higher fields. A difference of different electrode material was not observed.
