A framework for intelligent meta-search engine based on agent

It is difficult for users to search information in Internet because of the rapid expanding of information resource. Traditional search engines can´t deal with that very well. According to this situation, the paper presented agent and meta-search engine technology. The authors believed that the combination of agent and meta-search engine technology can satisfy the demand of individuation and intellective while users search information. Architecture of intelligent meta-search engine system based on agent was proposed in this paper. The authors expounded the idea of design, introduced the work principle of system, and explained the work mechanism of each module.
