Abstract :
Summary form only given. The paper reports an electrodynamic analysis and possible applications of a new type of magnetostatic wave (MSW) transducers. They are formed of two parallel strip-line transducers with the second transducer terminating the first one through a transmission line section. In such structures, unlike usual meander configurations, connecting transmission lines are located outside a ferrite film and can be comparatively long, while the coupling between transducers though a ferrite film is realized only by propagating MSW modes. The application of two-port transducers in MSW filters and delay lines presents additional capabilities for the realization of specific frequency and phase characteristics of these microwave devices.
