Abstract :
We introduce a novel method for restoring blurred images that requires no blurring model. The proposed method is inspired by a wavelet-based switching smoothness description of Holder function spaces. Specifically, we lower the smoothness of the blurred image locally or globally to obtain a sharpened image. Despite the simplicity of our method, the blurred image restoration is visually comparable to the classical convolution method.
