            Abstract : 
Physical therapists treat many patients with decreased strength, mobility, and weight bearing tolerance. In order to maximize rehabilitation, therapists must utilize early progressive controlled mobilization, as Wolff´s and Davis´ law describe. The system has been designed to precisely and quantitatively measure a patient´s lower body strength and improvement, through the use of a force measurement scale with a U-Bar, a custom-made force transducer. R2 values for the first and second U-Bar tests are 0.99 and 0.97, respectively, thus proving efficacy of the system.
