  • Abstract
Summary form only given. FeSiBCuNb wire can exhibit "nanocrystalline\´ structure after thermal treatments under suitable conditions. In the present study, Fe/sub 73.5/S/sub 13.5/B/sub 9/Cu/sub 1/Nb/sub 3/ amorphous wire was current annealed (50 A/mm/sup 2/, 30 s) under an applied tensile stress (135 MPa). Subsequent magnetic behavior was checked by studying the hysteresis loop and its parameters. In particular, it is shown that a magnetic anisotropy was induced exhibiting a transverse easy plane (3/spl times/10/sup 3/ A/m anisotropy field).
