Abstract
A training procedure for a threshold algorithm of temperature anomalies extraction based on fire data known to a subsatellite. Study of the proposed algorithm to detect other fires in the same photograph made with the use of infrared spectral channels of 4 microns and 11 microns of MODIS spectroradiometer. A good agreement between the results of fire detection with actual data presented in the Internet is achieved.
