Abstract :
Stochastic model is created to help in identifying the information which is needed to determine which process of maintenance is appropriate for fire control system. There are three processes of maintenance: unplanned maintenance, scheduled maintenance, on-condition maintenance. A non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) model which uses the event date of the fire control system is chosen to simulate and analyze it to determine which process of maintenance is best. The simulation results suggest that on-condition maintenance is appropriate for fire control system. It has the smallest mean time of waiting for replacement component by the process of on-condition maintenance. The reliability of on-condition maintenance system is analyzed.
