Abstract :
DNA is classified by sequences of chemical bonds and its 3 dimensional views. Modern databases allow a researcher to only search for sequences of chemical bonds. To perform searches for both sequences of chemical bonds and the 3 dimensional views for multiple DNA helixes requires a 3-dimensional database. This paper presents the design and development of 3-dimensional database and its associated query language. Search examples are included to validate both the design and ease of database use.
