Abstract :
In this paper, a new constant temperature controller is set up based on the thermoelectric coolers. It can provide a wide stable temperature environment in which the Fiber Optical Gyroscope works. The constant temperature controller works well in the testing process and meets the design requirements successfully. It has many significant advantages such as a short warm-up time, high accuracy and no moving parts. The constant temperature controller provides a practical method for the FOG inertial navigation system, which can improve the temperature stability of FOG and make FOG to work at a stable state rapidly. At last it provides a useful reference to structure design a similar constant temperature controller.
