Abstract :
Summary form only given. Based on a micromagnetics model, we show how quantitative information on the volume?? average mean-square demagnetizing field, (JH/J2)v , of a ferromagnetic body can be obtained by analysis of magnetic-field dependent small-angle neutron scattering data. For nano crystalline electrodeposited Ni and Co, we have, in the limit of high applied magnetic field, estimated a lower bound for (JH/J2)v as a function of the applied (internal) magnetic field, H.
