Abstract :
Existing methods for measuring gyro drift can not meet the precision and speed requirements. This paper, based on a platform inertial navigation system (INS), propose an engineering method of gyro drift measurement that is the combination of closed-loop measurement and open-loop measurement. Using the LabVIEW platform, ATE (automatic test equipment) and two-axis turntable, the drift measurement and compensation have been realized. Experimental results show that this system for obtaining and compensating gyro drift can meet the precision and speed requirements needed for application of INS.
