Abstract :
We know that a complex orthogonal design that provides full diversity and full transmission rate for a space-time block code is not possible for more than two transmitter antennas. Recently, some quasi-orthogonal designs for space-time block codes are proposed. With the quasi-orthogonal structure, these codes still have a ML decoding, but do not have the full diversity. In this paper, we design a new quasi-orthogonal space-time block codes with full diversity and rate 1, and get better performance compared to another quasi-orthogonal design.
