  • Abstract
    An intelligent microwave nondestructive testing (NDT) on-service inspection workstation is developed in this paper. The characteristic and method of microwave NDT is introduced and the originality of microwave NDT is given. By using technology of millimeter-wave and mixing microwave electronic, mechanics, material science and computer technology, the sensor and the microwave NDT system have been designed. Not only its testing model is given, but also the system is designed, furthermore, the essential technical target and application example are offered . the system has been used in insulate testing and diagnosis analysis of organism insulate material in rigid insulate tool of power system, and the results show that the system is successful, having great economic and social valuable.
