Abstract :
In this paper, the possibility of applying wind power generation for an agriculture region of Japan is presented based on the research subject of Japan´s Ministry of Higher Education´s COE Program. This research focuses on the utilization and benefit method of wind generation in the region with related weak wind speed like the most of regions in Tokyo and around it. Wind power turbine (WPT) and supplying system are given by considering wind characteristics. Special uses of WPT in raising fish and pumping water are also mentioned based on average wind speed data in this region. The explanation and analysis are done based on the investigated consumption average data of house and agriculture business derived from actual investigated data. The efficient results are calculated based on the comparison of economy and environment situation before and after the introduction of wind power generation. This paper is with the important meaning of utilizing wind generation in weak wind energy region for agricultural business, and hopefully to be introduced to other places in where the wind condition is relative weak.
