Abstract :
This paper explains the design of a type-2 average fuzzy logic controller (AT2-FLC) on FPGAs and its optimization using genetic algorithms for the regulation of speed of a DC motor, using the Xilinx Spartan 3A XC3S700A and Xilinx Environment Foundation. The AT2-FLC is codified in VHDL, then is simulated in the Xilinx System Generator and then is implemented in Spartan. The optimization is coded in Matlab.
