Abstract :
This paper focuses on the time-domain analysis of the chaotic dynamics of the fractional-order Chua´s circuit. In particular, the nonlinear fractional differential equations of the circuit are solved via the Adomian decomposition method. The approach, which provides an analytic solution in the form of a time series, leads to identify a novel bifurcation parameter, that is, the fractional order q of the time derivative. Additionally, the paper shows that the solution of the fractional Chua´s circuit can be written in a closed form, demonstrating that the approach is an effective tool for studying fractional chaotic systems.
