  • Abstract
The major goal of this paper is to design and implement an interesting learning platform for students. Game-based learning issues become hot topics in educational fields in recent years. By using game-based learning systems and applications, students can get higher motivation and performance of learning activities. In this paper, a system based on baseball game is developed for helping students to raise their learning motivations. In the proposed game-base learning baseball game platform, students can answer questions to get higher possibilities to win the game. The higher percentage they made right decisions, the better performance can be made in the baseball game. By integrating authoring tools and gaming environment, students will be focused in the contents provided by teachers. The proposed learning environment including three sub systems: (a) Course Resource Authoring System, (b) Learning System and (c) Game System, hoping to provide teachers with a user-friendly interface to edit their curriculum and to provide students with a game-based environment to improve their learning.
