Abstract :
TD-LTE has become one of the mainstream technology for 4G. Novel technologies such as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) have been selected for LTE downlink to improve the performance of the current wireless communication systems. In TD-LTE system, channel estimation is an important basis to obtain channel information, proceed channel equalization and choose transmission modes. Some channel estimation algorithms for LTE downlink, i.e. the least square (LS), liner minimum mean squared error (LMMSE) and singular value decomposition (svd) are studied in this paper and the simulation of their performance is given.
