Abstract :
In this research fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor for hydrogen detection is presented, especially in leakage cases. Results watch that the presented sensor is unbeatable in compared with the others technologies for hydrogen detection. Resolution, calibration, life time and response time of such sensor are investigating. Precisely in the 0.1%-4% H2 range, we found more than 60pm/1% H2 as resolution and response time of 4-5s. The obtained results indicate that we have a prevention system against hydrogen leakage that leads to disaster. It is efficiency for the health monitoring like in propulsion system fuel tank filled with hydrogen.
