Abstract :
This paper presents a radiation detection system with SimpliciTI wireless protocol, and intends to address the problem of low anti-interference ability, time-consuming network construction and high energy consumption occurring in existing system. The newly-elaborated system utilizes ZP1304 as G-M counter to detect γ rays, as well as provides 12V/500V high-voltage circuit to ensure counter perform steadily. Meanwhile, RSSI channel table is also employed to develop original SimpliciTI protocol in terms of frequency agility, thus improve anti-interference ability and frequency spectrum utilization. The experimental results show that this detection system could collect radiation dose stably and transmit its corresponding digital value accurately to central computer through modified wireless protocol, additionally, which also makes the frequency of channel-switching reduces 4 times on the average.
