Abstract :
Multiple robotic systems are under development for training of both upper and lower extremity function in neurologically impaired subjects with spinal cord injury or stroke, yet we currently lack the framework for designing and evaluating mechanical devices and approaches for treatment of such disorders. This paper will describe possible approaches towards evaluating the optimal approach for rehabilitation treatment of such disorders
